Melbourne four-piece Blessington are excited to finally release their long awaited Debut Album 'Eight Years'.

Named after a St Kilda street, core members Andrew Cowie (Lyrics/Music/Guitar/Vox), Bradd Dwyer (Drums)
and Anthony Cornish (Bass/Vox) have been playing sporadically in the dark corners of Melbourne's live
venues for the past few years, gathering a small group of loyal followers as they went, including the addition of
keyboard player and singer/songwriter Andrew Keese (of Andrew Keese and the Associates and the Amaya
Laucirica Band). Blessington shows are rare and special, shying away from the usual route of slogging and
repetition. But when they do appear, its an aural treat fit for the tiredest ears...

Developing their distinctive sparse desert guitar sound and emotionally phrased lyrics, (they describe
themselves as 'Dark Twang Pop'), the band have dug deep into their psyches and tapped into something
special to produce a piece of work that is truly enchanting and haunting at the same time…
